Some forces do not need time to become dangerous; they arrive ready. As Baliya Island prepares to receive thousands of humans pulled from Earth, Bryn and the Council believe they have accounted for injury, confusion, fear, and resistance, but they are still not prepared.
The first group crosses through the Porta Segreta in perfect formation with no panic, disorder, or hesitation. Only discipline. As thousands more follow, the scale of what the council has brought to Anturia becomes impossible to ignore. These are not frightened survivors waiting to be rescued. They are soldiers, and at their center stands a commander who immediately understands that someone has taken control of his fate.
