Inside Che’el de Velg’lan, the weight of rumor has become something far more dangerous. What began as whispers has now reached the Velg’lan council, and they are no longer willing to ignore it. Kylah is no longer just a question; she is a liability.
As pressure closes in from all sides, Bryn and Dahlfia realize that protecting their friend may cost them everything they are trying to build. This time, no path saves everyone, and a decision must be made. Truth will be revealed, and a line will be crossed that cannot be undone. The resistance’s survival demands more than strength. It requires a sacrifice.
