Flandan Reynolds survived a plane crash that should have killed him. Now, he faces a very different kind of nightmare.
Deep beneath the streets of Staranthea, the Immortaleum are separated, imprisoned, and cut off from everyone who might help them. With no way to communicate and no understanding of what their captors intend, Flandan struggles to hold on to the hope that once carried him through the impossible.
But the hours stretch on endlessly, and the sounds beyond his cell door offer little comfort. On Anturia, immortality was supposed to mean a second chance at life. It was never a promise that life would be merciful.
